Yes i very well understand. I did this in my masters studies. I agree with your thoughts but i did not throw this out earlier simply because i did not think anyone would comprehend.

Who cares if there was such thing as God I would like to thank him for ever making me have a chance to love my family, but if not that's what it is. Don't expect great things because in the end you know you will get disappointed so live life as freely as you can. Love your family so you won't regret when you die.

Red1eagle lemme ask you do you feel better posting these? People believe in God because they're mature if you do not know what this means you're still very immature and your brain isn't fully developed, or you're just too dumb to even think. I personally don't believe in God but sometimes wish there was one, because would you really imagine yourself in eternal darkness? There is no such thing as consciousness so if you're a atheist you must believe that there is nothing but darkness.

Please think about it all night maybe one day you'll know what I mean(when you're mature enough and your brain is fully developed), but while you live just be nice to people and your family because you'll feel guilty when your parents die.

You won't find that answer if you're forcing it. Look through all the holes in life and come up with an answer about whether you believe in a " higher being " or not. I personally do because of all the challenges I've encountered in life.

It's not a matter of "who" it's a matter of what started the big bang. It's 10th grade science, not even. Scientist say the big bang started with a little tiny rounded object that weighed over 10 tons. When that object was overwhelmed with matter, it exploded causing the big bang. I don't necessarily believe this story, I believe in god. There are questions most people won't be able to answer like, How did the first living creature ever come upon this earth? No one knows. No one can make you believe anything.

A singularity is a point in space with an infinite amount of density. A fact that boggles human minds, similar to dividing anything by zero. I remember first hearing about this aspect of the universe maybe in 11th grade( there was 13 grades at that time).

As far as what cosmologists say; they say that this point of infinite density was triggered to expand by an unknown force. This unknown force (x) is the reason this theory is not a law right now. This is also the reason of several debates such as this. Now, don't start insulting my beleif. I believe that God is the ultimate force, who also started the big bang. This relates a little to islam and their beliefs.


Im am no palaeontologist or evolutional biologist, but i can tell you that this is an extreme topic to talk about. Some may say it is evolution and its wonders, controlled by God. Some may even believe in the God's creation of organic matter out of the void. That is one aspect i do not quite agree with. Because i do study space, and i just cannot digest that fact. But i am pretty free in this side of religion, meaning that someone can easily convince me because there is no stronghold for me to stand on.



I rather believe that God made humans evolved, or started the evolution process. Read previous posts, it prevents me from repeating a few things.

First and foremost, I will admit that I have not read or plan on reading everyone's replies. However, I do have an opinion in this matter and hope that you will hear me out. For the longest time, the existence of heaven and hell or at least an afterlife (which is most commonly attributed to some form of deity) troubled me to say the least. After months of contemplation (and various prescription drugs ), I have come to this conclusion: why believe or disbelieve? Yes, I was one who voted "Agnostic", because I do not want to openly refuse the existence of a God, but I will not accept an existence either. Whether or not a higher being exists is, in truth, irreverent to our existence. While the meaning of life is still a mystery, we do know that at one point or another, every human will die. We were born to die, or so you could say. And at that point, what will matter most? The existence of a God or what you had accomplished in life or how you lived it?

In short, to each his or her own and a long, prosperous life to you.

It wasn't a tiny rounded object, tiny would imply you are able to see it with out aid, it wasn't even microscopical, I would say it was not even a nanometer, it didnt weight 10 tons, not even a million of billions of tons, it had the weight of the entire universe as we know it, it is such a great value the human mind is not able to grasp it, also the singularity in itself doesn't has a room for "whens" as time didn't exist before it, and the expansion followed instantly.

Also I don't get why people hold life in such high regard, it is only but a set of self sustaining chemical reactions, the fact that we don't understand how it works in its entirety doesn't mean we don't understand why it works and exists, it is like viruses some people think they shouldn't be considered as alive because they are too simple, however do they think this because they see it as only chemical reactions or do they not understand that all life is simply that?

Basically life came to exist when a random chemical reaction in the young earth primordial soup (out of the billions that happened each second for billions of years) caused a chemical reaction that caused the same chemical reaction, in other words that had the ability to self duplicate.

Now I can safely say that you are the embodiment of ignorance, but don't feel bad I can make ignorant questions too! I mean I am curious about the whole Adam and Eve thing, how did they avoid the whole incest issue? If they only had sons, did they do it with their mother? What would Adam think of this? Isn't polygamy forbidden? Isn't it odd that the bible as a whole is full of misogyny? If god is against violence why is he so frikkin violent? I mean he destroyed two entire cities with fire and brimstone leaving no survivors! he also flooded the earth killing countless people... that reminds me, with Noah's ark theres that whole incest issue once again! this time with all known species that exist on earth, what about the guy that got eaten by a whale?, did you know the largest thing a blue whale can eat is an orange?

Whoa people started responding to this again? I wasn't getting any alerts for it... Continue with your religion battle, I really don't care about this anymore. Because people who believe in god refuse to consider anything else, once they get to the point where they're beaten, they just say "well I have faith, that's all I need."

I like how you openly stated you didn't believe in god, and asked for people to try to convince you. Then people like marian daniel spent lots of time writing up good, detailed, and factual posts regarding your topic, and about why he believes god definitely exists. You however, rejected them and refused to listen to them at all, and then you pull some random BS statement saying that religious people refuse to listen to others, which at least demonstrated in this thread, is the opposite of what's happened. People have listened to you, considered what you've said, while you on the other hand have not been doing either one. The irony is just too much to bear here.
