Introduction

The staff has been discussing this event for quite a while. We had originally planned this to take place earlier but the delayed Please login or register to view this link. announcement led us to delay the announcement of this event.

We've always said that the members are what make up ShadyGamer. The community on ShadyGamer is what keeps ShadyGamer ahead of everyone else. The community in essence becomes the heart of ShadyGamer. The community members then becoming a vital part to the success of ShadyGamer. We decided it was only fair that the community itself decides the future of ShadyGamer. With this event you have the chance to shape ShadyGamer the way you want it to look. The forum structure is what makes sure members and guests can get to the thread that they are looking for. Therefore the forum structure is a very vital part of user direction.

Event Details

The event is a little complicated, but we made sure that any member of the community could participate in the event easily. This event consists of you revamping part of the forum structure (ie A section) or the whole forum structure. You can re-structure one section, for example the Entertainment / Downloads section. You can also re-structure the whole forum list from top to bottom. Do what you will with it, if we find it creative we will either use your whole structure or parts of it. Whatever we do use from your creative designs, full credit will be given.

Some things we are interested in seeing and some suggestions to start you off.

• The split of the Entertainment / Downloads section
• Changing display orders of the sections
• Revamping the Anime section and giving more support to phanime.net
• Revamping the Relax section
• Revamping the Maplestory, and other game sections
• Changing forum names and section names.

We have various other suggestions and things we'd like to see, but we have purposely avoided from revealing them. This event is suppose to be for you to have "no limits." By listing what we want to see, we are limiting you from your imagination and creativity. The suggestions above are things that we find would be a little interesting. But this whole event is made for you to show us something that we haven't thought about before, something unique, something creative, something that's reasonable.

Instructions / How to

You may be wondering how exactly you will accomplish such a task.
There are a couple of ways of doing this.

• Use photoshop or other image editing programs to create an image of all changes

Changing the names of forums and sections that you feel don't represent them correctly, is something that we are also looking for, so don't hesitate.

If any of your work is used in the forum structure, even work that leads to another idea will automatically earn you 500 ShadyCash.

Complete Section Revamps: 750 ShadyCash
If we use your section revamp, you'll get the 750 ShadyCash

Full Site Revamp: 1500 ShadyCash
If we use your Full site revamp as the base of the forum structure you will be awarded the prize. Only one person will get 1500 ShadyCash.

Rules

• If someone has come up with a similar idea as yours and has posted it before you, your idea will automatically be disqualified.
• You can submit as many entries as you want, two full site revamps, 5 section revamps, and so on. If we use more of your work, you will be given ShadyCash accordingly.
• Don't share your ideas with others, who ever posted first will automatically be deemed as the original creator of the idea.
• It is fine if you include other people's ideas in your full site revamp. However you must have one original idea in your revamp. Whoever's work is in the revamp will be credited accordingly.
