Release Patcher maker

Edit: i forgot to tell you that in the end the patcher you make will not be big so you can download/ upload it faster. its smaller because it only contains the changes i believe.

Okay, so first i want to state that i did not make this program.

This is to make a patcher for the wz files much like iJeffrey's post except this is HOW TO MAKE A PATCHER instead of it already being released

This is for people that wants to release a wz edit and instead of telling people what to do just patch it using this and give it to them which will make it much easier.

NOTE: VISTA USERS don't forget to run as administrator in order to work properly.

1. Install the program (posted on bottom also)

2. Run Patch maker

3. it should look like this once you have opened it.

You will see a welcome box but we do not need that so click cancel

4.now go to the right side

you will see a text saying "directory contianing latest version:.

Click browse then find your edited wz file that you want.

Note: it will only look for the folder that it is in so i suggest makign seperate folder like i did with the edited wz file and original wz file.

5. next under that it says "directories containing old version to update:.

look for the original wz file and click okay

now it should look like this

6. wizard texts and wizard options(tabs) are optional. they are to edit the text and the display. its pretty simple to do on your own. im not going to go in to it though.

7. go to build

you have the option to build it fast or in smallest size of file.

ill do smallest.

click build button and save on your desktop and name it what you want. in this case ill put it koc summon dem

once it is all done it will be something like this

heres an example of what it will look like when you edit in "wizard text"

Again this is for people who wants to make a patcher and ittle end up like ijefferys release

it patches peoples file

Reminder: IF YOU RELEASE YOUR PATCHER DONT FORGET TO TELL THEM TO HAVE ANOTHER COPY OF THE WZ FILE THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO PATCH. if you dont, wen the patch comes from maple story it will have an error and that will cause more problems

Can you make FMA .wz edits with this?

If so, do the steps change or do they remain the same?

You need to make your .wz edits with a repacker. Amusing this is only to put these into patches to make then upload faster

Broken link, also when I search for .wz files they don't show up in my browse selection window.

I'm still having problem loading the .wz files. The program wont even show the files on the browser, please help so I can release something that hasn't been done yet!!!

You aren't following the tutorial correctly bc I can fine the wz files. You go to right of program and click browse for the hacked wz. The underneath that click add and go to the folder where the new hacked wz is going to be. Click build, and follow the rest of tutorial

What I did:
Installed Patch Maker
Run Patch Maker
Cancle the wizard.
Click 'browse' to find the directory with the latest version.
*Problem: Folders and everything appear but folders with .wz files will not open.
For the sake of trying, I click the add button and have the same problem.

Nevermind there was a problem with the download, I got it fixed, thanks!
