my account got deleted

    Perhaps you were hacked and had your account deleted, I would have the slightest idea as to why otherwise. Have you contacted the company that handles user accounts? If you were to explain the situation, they may be able to retrieve and restore your account. On another note, maybe it is just simply that you cannot access the account, not that it was deleted. Try a password reset?

    Can it be that you are a Kongreagate or Steam user? If yes then it can happen that after updates accounts aren't recognized. In this case I would simply keep reloading the Kongregate / Steam client until it recognizes your account. Please make sure that you at least once try connecting without using a proxy or modified client to make sure it's not the fault of your tools.

    The sad bit of news is that this bug has in theory been patched a few days ago, so if you have problems with your account... it might be a permanent problem. either a hacked or a gm-deleted account issue. Contact the developers/gms by submitting a ticket. Should they inform you that your account having been deleted because of some form of abuse play dumb and ask them to explain, clarify for starters and proof with logs or some kind of evidence.

    Please update us on this, these are times of shady gms lurking everywhere, preying on innocent cheaters. We need to know if accounts start getting deleted by Kabam.

    Clients like Cube's client can track your username and password when you log on to your accounts. People have repeatedly blamed this for lost or robbed accounts.

    Internet sites that claim to give you hacks if you give them your account info (but you have to have more than little fame) are 100% phishing sites. If you used those... too bad.

    At this stage maybe it also needs clarification what a lost account means.
    1. You can't log on -> can be a password problem or a stolen account with password reset (account hackers give you the new pass in an email sent to the email account associated with your gaming profile).
    2. You can log on but you are lvl 0 and all your fame and progress is gone -> refer to my earlier post in this thread.

    GMs were sitting watching for people running into the Vault 5,000 times as well as a lot of users with nothing better to do with their time - there was/is an official 'report duplicators' thread on the Wild Shadow forums.

    Yeah....I saw a couple guest accounts at 123.2, that were carrying Davy Jones items, 1 week before it even came out, and they were actually mods (confirmed by Wild Shadow)
