Maplestory on the Go! ( usb )

Some people have tried getting maplestory to work on USB stick to carry it on a school computer or a laptop or someone that is just to lazy to install the game on each devices.

Here a way to get MapleStory executable from a USB FLASH DRIVE.

Tools

• USB (8gb or higher) // You will need 14-16Gb USB to be able to update the game from usb
• Maplestory Installer // The installer used to download the game.
• Brain and patience

Steps
1. Plug in your USB FLASH DRIVE on your laptop/PC usb port .
2. Go to my computer and right click on your USB and select "Format"
{ THIS WILL DELETE ALL CONTAINT FROM YOUR USB }



3. Once the Format window appears select : under "File system" --- NTFS // this will format your usb in hardrive format and click START.

4. Once that is done, double click on the MapleStory installer and select your USB as your Install path.

5. Wait for the installer to finish, and once its done, run MapleStory from "GameLauncher.exe"

6. HOPEFULLY IT SHOULD WORK.

DONE.

How is this not common knowledge?

You can do this with pretty much every single game, as long as it is cracked, or does not need something like Origin, or Steam to run.

Good for you I suppose, on telling not-so-computer-smart people how to do this.

well if u pick the folder from ur c drive and place it into your usb it wont. work
So this is the actual way to do that.

Really? It works perfectly fine when I do it. Just sayin. Maybe your USB stick sucks. o.o I can run it directly off my iPod Nano, and a normal USB stick..

maybe, it does, for you, but many others are having trouble finding a way to do it.

Surprised I didn't notice this before...but this doesn't REALLY belong in the hacks/bots section does it? More like it belongs in the guides section.

I did this before when MapleStory needs to be patched for an update you USB will run out of memory.
You need a 14-16(GB) USB

Yee i had that problem before with my 4Gb, when i was patching it ran out of memory. i thought it was only for 4gb. thanks for the information
