Tutorial Dragons Are Attacking ShadyGamer!

Well, no doubt you have already seen all the dragons and dragon eggs in peoples' signatures, and you may think "Hmm, those look pretty cool .. I want one.." Or "I want to get a dragon egg, but I don't know if it will survive :c" Well, I'll be showing you how to get a dragon for yourself, and If you want to have your dragon clicked on more, this can be the official "Dragon Egg" thread, just post your dragon egg's BBcode (If you don't know what that is or how to post it, I'll get into it later.) Once you do post the code, I can paste it into this post and more people shall see and click. So, Let's begin.

Now, first off you want to go to Please login or register to view this link. and it should appear like so:

Now, After you've been to the page, on the top you should see Cave, Login, Register, Help, Forums, Shop. (I will go over all of these later.) You're going to want to click register, follow the instructions, and fully complete the registration. A confirmation email will be sent to you, so just open your email up in advance to save you the time. After you've confirmed it, log in, and now you should see the screen as this:

Now, You shall see a new link on the top, named "Dragons." I will now go into detail about what each menu does.

CAVES Tab:

This is where you can find all your dragon eggs, you can choose from:

Alpine

Coast

Desert

Forest

Jungle

Volcano

You can get different dragons from different regions, their traits varying. Although you can find two dragons of the same kind from two different areas, but that is rare.

ACCOUNTS Tab:

In the Account tab, you can:

Change your account settings (Password, email address, preferences and more.)

DRAGONS Tab:

Here, in the Dragons tab, you can view and monitor all your dragons, as well as see their statistics. You can see

their name, their type, how many views / unique views they have, and how many people have clicked on them. You can also click the "actions" link under the "manage" section and you can do the following:

Kill: The poor dragon is killed, and deleted

Freeze: Permanently freezes the hatchling from turning into an adult.

Name: Give your hatchling a name

Describe: Give your Dragon a description, a story of his / her own! (can only be used on Frozen Dragons or Adult Dragons.)

Abandon: Sort of like killing the dragon, but he is not deleted, so others can find him in the caves and raise him as their own.

Hide: This function hides this dragon, and prevents it from receiving views or clicks, thus not allowing it to grow! D:

HELP Tab:

Well, this Help tab helps you with basically anything you'd need to know about raising your dragon, it's basically the same thing as what this is, but it's on that very website. So you don't have to redirect back to shadygamer and find this thread, there's that tab always there willing to help you :3

SHOP Tab:

Here in the shop tab you can buy from art to shirts to hoodies to satchels with "dragon" art on them, made by the users themselves! There are some very unique pieces of work in there, so it's worth checking it out

Well, this concludes the Tabs part of this guide, now onto how to get your dragon egg onto this post. First off, you need to get the BBcode of the dragon(s) you wish to advertise on this thread, and to do that you must head on over to the "Dragons" tab. Once you're in the dragons tab, click on the dragon you wish to get the code for. After you have clicked it, you should see a bunch of information about the dragon, clicks, views, mother, father, etc. Right under the small picture of the dragon, you should see "Show HTML/BBcode Links" That's where you want to go. Now, the HTML code won't work properly here, but the BBCode will. The one problem, is that if you are to post it here, it will automatically turn into the egg. Now, to stop that from happening, enter this:

(code) {Insert BBcode here} (/code)

Now, instead of the parenthesis around the "code" you must put this bracket "[" and "]" . It's the same exact thing when you add a spoiler or quote, just type in the same thing but instead of "spoiler" put "code". Now, if you paste your BBcode within it, it will appear, and I can paste it onto the post. Below is where all the dragons shall be posted, along with the name of their owner. You can request your name to be in a specific color if you want :3. And remember to click others' dragons! They must all be clicked to grow!
