    I have no idea why, but what that guy said, I know its his opinion, but it pissed me off. That's why im posting here.

    Since when has a game sucked BECAUSE it was in 2D? IF THE GAME f***ING SUCKED....IT f***ING SUCKED! Not because it was 2D. I mean, if every 2D game sucked serious d***, then gaming would've died at the SNES and GENESIS >_< Seriously how f***ing retarded are these generations getting? Cannot appreciate how the f***ing era started? 2D is how gaming started, There was a LOT of s***ty 2D games but there are FAR more good ones. Or ones that are at least entertaining. And even today, some of the best games, are 2D. I am talking about..like Cave Story, or Super Meat Boy, not one of those f***ing stupid franchise 3D games. (Call of duty, Battlefield, Final Fantasy, etc the list goes on) Those games get super popularity BECAUSE of their previous titles, if they stood on their own, they'd be f***ing gone.

    It seems like only true gamers...or gamers who grew up, when everything was first starting...could truly appreciate the older games, truly appreciate a good 2D game when they see one. And not just shoot it down because its indie and 2D.

    ... It's like people saying Minecraft sucks because of it's graphics...

    One word:
    GAMEPLAY

    How you feel, how you respond, how the game turns out to be regardless of it's outward appearance. It doesn't matter if a game is 2D, or even 3D with horrible graphics.

    Lots of people like Fire Emblem for example, but it's not high-end graphics. Pokemon Black and White... That's not 3D but it's caused a frenzy of fans. Super Meat Boy, yeah... Another perfect example, red!

    There's no difference from 2D to 3D if you're playing it for what it is. The graphics of yesteryear only added to charm... But today, all graphics seems to be is something that must be pushed or annihilated for the newer. x.x

    Yea it was and your eyes always hurt it was horrbale but because of that now we know better, but the best games are 2D and people are just stupid

    You can actually get an emulator for that system. change it from red, to black/white and alot of the games, actually are quite nice. The console itself, sucked though. Games were fine.

    I don't know if you can get them that cheap...$20 is probly as cheap as they get if you want one that will work for most games.

    I know how you feel. It annoys me to death when people shoot down a game just because it doesn't have "awesome" graphics.

    My first game console was a NES and I still play that thing from time to time haha. I want to turn it into a Nintoaster. :p

    I don't know how many times I've tried to have some of my friends try out some older games only to have them say something along the lines of "Nah the graphics suck.".

    A lot of people now a days just seem to only care about graphics, and if it doesn't look "awesome" they don't want anything to do with it. :(


    I used to want a VirtualBoy hahah. xD
